Kristen Simental is a Mexican-American, award-winning author, and the Editor-in-Chief of Five South. She is currently pursuing a degree in Comparative Literature at Harvard Extension School. Kristen previously founded and served as editor-in-chief of Dark Culture Magazine, an underground music publication. Beyond her editorial work, she has hosted a podcast, authored countless newsletters, and remains dedicated to creating stuff to read.
